We're still here! This is the only damage we've really had: one tiny little tree branch down. We were really lucky--didn't even lose power!

Just got a real strong craving for Pasta Espresso...ah, San Diego. I miss you.

Oh, just a little Sunday afternoon trip to Borders...

it's a sad evening in the state of rhode island.

around 7 pm i got the news that my former boss--and the former governor--Bruce Sundlun had passed away. he'll be remembered as a once great man who was lovably (?) insane and who loved his family very, very much.

RIP, G-Sun. you'll be missed.

that's him all the way on the right; he was younger than i am, about 23 or 24. the picture comes from this article, which i suggest reading, even if you've never heard of him--it's a fantastic piece and includes some amazing stories. and i use the word "amazing" in the way it should be used (and not in the way i typically overuse it!).
